This was one of my favorite projects to date – creating black & white images to accompany a personal heart-felt op-ed series on Mission Hill and poverty for the Boston Globe. “Measuring impact decades after a summer camp for Mission Hill youth”
I was honored to create illustrations for “Measuring impact decades after a summer camp for Mission Hill youth” – a wonderful six-part series for the Boston Globe written by Farah Stockman. This is the first piece for the Sunday Op-ed page.
This illustration is out today in the Wall Street Journal’s Arena section. “An Outbreak of Hysteria Novels” is about two upcoming books that are both based on the same event, when a strange outbreak begins with a popular girl and spreads to her circle of friends. The girls developed weird symptoms like facial tics, seizures, and uncontrollable physical movements.
Op-ed illustration for the Boston Globe. Article and color version online: D for Democrat. Or dodge.
This was a fun piece to work on for the Los Angeles Time’s L.A. Affairs section. “The author’s fear of driving on freeways put the brakes on her dating prospects, at least temporarily.” To read the article online: No fear on that freeway of love
